Blending Art and Design

I’m Kayla — a Senior Product Designer with a huge love for digital art and game design. I grew up playing games from before my time — like Metroid on the Atari. I had my hands on every console and every game I could. In middle school, I saved enough money to buy a PS3, and from there my obsession with game art, digital media, and storytelling really took off.

By day, I work at Microsoft designing user-friendly apps and AI tools, building sleek interfaces, and creating storyboards to connect with customers.

I’m focused on merging two worlds — using my UI/UX skills while keeping my creative edge sharp with game art, illustrating, and storytelling.

Keeping Busy…Very Busy

You can currently find me in Dublin, Ireland, where I live with my partner, two cats (one is orange, so I know how to handle insanity), and a dog. I’m always chasing a new skill or hobby — creating concept art, learning new design tools, running half marathons, skiing, kayaking, archery, reading… you name it.
